Where did LIV come from?  Several years ago Giant bicycles began separating their brand between men and women.  They wanted a a women's only brand that could stand on its own.  LIV was born.

We are proud to introduce LIV, the new women's cycling brand from Giant. Giant has long been committed to the female consumer, and we are now taking that commitment to a new level. We have evolved our women's brand from LIV/Giant to LIV, representing our growth into a confident, standalone brand completely dedicated to female cyclists.
